Our shades are aesthetically classy while simultaneously providing protection from the elements, especially the heat and sun in the summer months. We offer 2 shade systems:

The shade material and colors available are the same for each system, the primary difference is the way that the shade is installed and housed.

The Heavy Duty Cable System is a high-quality, custom-built retractable exterior shade that can be ordered up to 20’ wide and 16’ tall. Our shades employ a magnet at the base of the cable guide system to allow the fabric to hang flatter and be more stable in the wind. We can build you the shade that will best suit your needs.


There are upgrade options available for the Heavy Duty exterior shades, including the following: 

  • Heavy Duty 5.5” Box
  • Custom WIDTHS up to 20’ and HEIGHTS up to 16’
  • Manual or Motorized

The Heavy Duty Track System is a custom built exterior shade installed with a track that holds the fabric inside the track. This system not only provides shade, but also will completely enclose an area keeping out insects, critters, dirt and weather.


There are upgrade options available for the Heavy Duty exterior shades, including the following:

  • Heavy Duty 5.5” Box
  • Custom WIDTHS up to 27’ and HEIGHTS up to 12’
  • Manual or Motorized

How it works

  • Call or Send a Request

    Let us know what you’re looking for! When you reach out to us we will make sure to get back to you right away. We look forward to discussing your needs and seeing if our product offering will be a good fit. If so, we will book an appointment with you. 

  • Book an Appointment

    When you book an appointment with Crown Patio, we will send out one of our design consultants to walk through your space with you. We will show you the material and the different color options, that way you can experience the incredible product we have to offer. 

  • Measure & Design Project

    Once you have decided what you like, we will take measurements and usually are able to let you know the cost right then and there. Unique or custom work may take a couple of days for our design consultant to get you a quote. 

  • Order Product

    When you are satisfied and confident in the patio cover you would like, we ask for a 50% down payment for us to order the products and the remaining 50% at the completion of the project when you have your NEW patio cover installed and are a happy customer!

  • Start project

    Projects start based on when the material arrives and when our install teams are available. Our installers work hard on exceeding your expectations when they are on site. This is where the magic happens and everything comes together!


  • Finish Your Amazing Patio Cover

    Once we are finished installing your patio cover, we will clean up all around where the work was done and reveal to you, your brand-new space!

  • Share Your New Space with Family & Friends

    Bring the inside out with your new covered space! Set up your furniture, fire up the grill, and stay shaded or dry. Invite your family and friends over to enjoy your additional living space. Share your experience with others as we love the support from our happy customers and have an exceptional referral program in place!
